Privacy Policy
Davis Boxing Club (“DBC,” “we,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit boxing gym in Omaha, Nebraska. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English on purpose.

What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Name and email address when you join our email list, waitlist, or contact us through a form on this site.
- Donation information if you give online. Payments are processed by our payment processor (PayPal); we do not see or store your full card number.
- Basic website analytics. Like most websites, we may use standard analytics tools that collect anonymous information such as pages visited and general location (city level). This data does not identify you personally.
We do not collect information from you automatically for advertising purposes, and we do not use tracking for targeted ads.
How we use your information
- To send you email updates about DBC’s opening, classes, programs, events, fundraising, and ways to get involved
- To respond when you contact us
- To process and acknowledge donations, including tax receipts
- To understand how people use our website so we can improve it
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers that help us operate:
- Google (Gmail / Google Workspace), which we use to send and manage our email
- Our payment processor to handle donations
- Analytics providers, in anonymous form only
We never sell or rent your personal information. Period.
We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email we send. We honor every unsubscribe promptly.
- Request removal or deletion of your information by emailing us at coach.moses@davisboxingclub.org. We’ll take care of it.
Children’s privacy
Our website and email list are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and our signup forms are not directed at them. Parents and guardians should sign up on behalf of youth participants. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, contact us at coach.moses@davisboxingclub.org and we will delete it.
How we protect your information
We use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to a minimum — which is the best protection there is.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
